The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse assists physicians with procedures and monitors patients during their stay

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

BLS (CPR)

CPI Recommended

Current Registered Nurse licensure through State of Louisiana or compact licensure without restrictions.

ACLS

One year of Cardiac Cath Lab as a RN preferred of other non-Cath Lab experienced RN’s.

Well-developed evaluation skills to evaluate patients' conditions before, during and after cardiac catheterizations.

Excellent clinical reasoning skills and good judgement

Ability to cope with stressful situations.

Strong oral and written communication skills, interacting with other medical personnel, patients, and families.

Detail Oriented. Ability to keep environment sterile.

Tech savvy with equipment. Computer skills/keyboarding
