Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Supervisor of Imaging manages and coordinates the daily operations of all assigned areas. They will oversee imaging services in a manner that optimizes patient, associate, and physician experience. They will maintain a productive work environment and will meet professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards. The Supervisor also collaborates effectively with imaging personnel, inter-disciplinary departments, facility leadership, Manager of Imaging, Director of Imaging, and Medical Director of Imaging.
Essential Job Functions
Licensing/Certification
Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), or NMTC (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) (required)
State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required)
Education
Associates, Applied Science of Radiography (required)
Work Experience
2 years' experience in clinical environment (required)
Advanced Imaging Technologies (preferred)
Training
EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)

Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur
May be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse
May be required to use physical restraints
May be exposed to adverse weather conditions; cold, hot, dust, wind, etc.
May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights

General office environment
Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions
Long-distance or air travel as needed- not to exceed 10% travel
