Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The associate shall be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist, therapeutic interventions in a team environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The associate shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.

Education Qualifications
Required Minimum Education:
2 Year/ Associates Degree
Specialty/Major:
graduate of an APTA approved Associate’s degree program or shall have completed equivalent training
Licensure/Certification Required:
State license is required state or certification to practice or approved as a Physical Therapist Assistant Trainee.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is necessary.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Experience with an outpatient program/services and pediatric/adolescent populations is desirable, but not necessary
