Position:
Flexible Packaging Manufacturing seeking Quality Control Inspector 2nd shift. Candidates must have 2-3 years of QC experience, preferably in MFG, as well as strong analytical organization and communication skills. Must be computer literate, word, excel and outlook and also Bi-lingual in Spanish and English. They should also be willing to work weekends and extended hours when necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Report any new defective product on hold and bring the report to the QC Lab daily.
2. Rework any defective product that is approved by the supervisor for re-work.
3. Responsible for putting pallet tags on all finished products that was re-worked and taken out of the hold area.
4. Employees must organize their workload with the lab to prioritize the task of the day.
5. Responsible for replacing damaged cases with new ones.
6. Responsible for replacing labels when needed.
7. Responsible for organizing and keeping the work area clean daily.
8. Occasionally, when there is a customer complaint on a product, a Hold Area employee is asked to inspect the product in the manufacturing warehouse.
9. When workload is low in the Hold Area, they assist in the lab with filing reports or samples or any other urgent tasks that are needed throughout the day.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
