Working within an international commercial and operational team, this role focuses on enhancing profitability through existing accounts and setting industry-leading standards in Sales and Customer Service. The Account Manager will be key in nurturing business relationships, improving process efficiency, and ensuring profitability through close collaboration with customers, airlines, and vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategically grow sales by enhancing the gross profit of current accounts.Cultivate and maintain positive customer relationships.Collaborate on space management with airlines alongside gateway and Airfreight Exports.Ensure consistent communication with customers to fulfill service requirements.Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for business expansion.Facilitate customer visits in coordination with outside sales teams.Prepare and electronically present quotations to customers, following up on all communications.Work with management and outside sales to strategize and implement the best company practices.Review pricing for existing customers to maximize profitability.Oversee Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to ensure competitive offerings.Regularly update the company CRM (e.g., Salesforce) with commercial activities.Serve as the primary liaison for assigned Key Accounts, aiming for growth and satisfaction.Ensure cohesive service strategies for key customers across different branches and/or countries.Develop customer appreciation initiatives in collaboration with sales teams.Create and distribute presentations about the company for internal and customer-facing purposes.QualificationsAbout You: You have a minimum of 2 years in operational and/or sales roles within the logistics or perishables industry and you've demonstrated a track record of reliability and success.You're well-versed in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office suite. Your comfort with technology streamlines processes, enhances productivity, and ensures you're always on top of your game.You thrive in collaborative environments, understanding that the synergy of a team brings out the best in every project.
