Mercedes-Benz of Colorado Springs is hiring a full time Parts Advisor. A Parts Advisor Sells parts and accessories to parts customers and actively solicits wholesale accounts.
Essential Duties
- Assists wholesale account customers, and/or walk-in/phone-in customers, in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Locates or orders parts as needed.
- Prepares invoices for parts to be delivered to wholesale customers.
- Maintains and solicits wholesale accounts in person and by telephone. Keeps parts manager informed on the status of accounts.
- Maintains professional appearance.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training. ADP/CDK experience a plus
Language Skills • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
