Title Clerk

COMPENSATION: $21.00-$27.00/hourly (based on experience).

HOURS: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (some overtime may be required).

Essential Job Duties - included but not limited to:

• Process and complete title and tax documents for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Process wholesale and dealer trade titles.
• Process paperwork for vehicle purchases and payoffs.
• Stays abreast of county and state title regulation requirements.
• Cashing contacts.
• Receipts and verifies funding has been received before processing title work.
• Compiles and maintains complete list of all outstanding title work with weekly reporting to Managers.
• Maintains CIT, Vehicle AR, Payoffs, Used Car Purchase, Dealer Trade & Wholesale AR, and Tax schedules, with weekly reporting to Managers.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Previous title or automotive accounting experience required. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Candidates must be organized.
• Team-oriented and comfortable in an open office setting is required.
• Committed to customer satisfaction.
• Must be able to effectively use a computer (Microsoft Office-Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet)
• Reynolds & Reynolds knowledge helpful but not required.
• Billing experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School graduate or GED
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test).
