Overview:

MercCustoms LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Restoration Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of automotive restoration techniques, have a keen eye for detail, and be passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

o Execute comprehensive automotive restoration projects, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.

o Disassemble, repair, and reassemble various vehicle components, including bodywork, engines, interiors, and electrical systems.

o Conduct thorough assessments of vehicles to determine restoration requirements and create detailed project plans.

o Perform metal fabrication and welding tasks to repair or replace damaged vehicle components.

o Utilize various tools and equipment to shape, cut, and weld metal parts with precision.

o Apply expert-level knowledge in automotive painting and finishing techniques.

o Mix and match paint colors, apply primers, basecoats, and clear coats to achieve a flawless finish.

o Ensure the final appearance meets or exceeds customer expectations.

o Maintain accurate records of all restoration projects, including parts inventory, labor hours, and project timelines.

o Document any modifications or customizations made during the restoration process.

o Collaborate effectively with other team members, including mechanics, painters, and fabricators, to achieve seamless project execution.

o Provide guidance and support to junior team members when necessary.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as an Auto Restoration Specialist.

· In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, components, and restoration techniques.

· Proficiency in metal fabrication, welding, and automotive painting.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to challenges.

· Effective communication and teamwork skills.

· Certification or formal training in auto restoration is a plus.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Passion for European luxury vehicles and an understanding of their unique characteristics.
