We are seeking a Full-Time Dispensing Nurse to join our team at our N 4th Street location. The schedule will be Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2:00pm EST.
Earn $30.59/hr
Position Details
The Dispensing Nurse will administer/dispense methadone in accordance with State and Federal regulations and ensure that adequate recording of the administration/dispensing transaction has occurred. They will be responsible for monitoring tuberculosis, HIV, and HepC testing for all patients and assigned units, including making outside referrals when appropriate. The Dispensing Nurse will also provide emergency care as needed (CPR, PMAB, Emergency Medications), according to Merakey's Policy & Procedures. and have the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis state and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
- Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Experience with chemically dependent population preferred
- Current CPR certification
