JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Developing and maintaining Manufacturing Equipment Installation Project Schedules using information gained through Project Managers, project documents, reporting data, and observations of tooling construction & builds
- Using MS Project Scheduling software create comprehensive schedules
- Assist project teams with illustrating project’s paths towards successful execution, exercising decision making projections and generate project status reporting data
- Navigate and populate preliminary & working project schedules with Project Managers using MS Project Software
- Obtain time sensitive information from key team members related to execution of support plans, logistics coordination, changes in scope, schedule impacts, etc.
- Implement subcontractor activities/milestones into master schedules and manage the criteria and methods for exchange of schedule related information
- Updating and reporting the status of projects to project teams and customers using scheduling software and supplementary reporting tools
- Manipulating schedules to reflect valuable and concise information specific to the tooling builds
- Participate in other assigned tasks related to project planning and project management
- Assist Senior Project Manager in developing a standard schedule management system
REQUIREMENTS:
- Min 3 years of Project Scheduling Experience using MS Project Scheduling Software (MUST)
- Ability to create MS Project Schedules from scratch, knowledge of schedule logic and precedence
- Previous Construction and/or Automotive Industry experience is Required
- College Degree is highly desired but not required
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail with paperwork
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Great communication skills is a must, will interact with clients, engineering, field team, and suppliers
- Ability Identify & analyze critical path activities
- Experience read and understand blue prints and mechanical drawings is a big plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
