Job Overview:

Dental Assistant (full time position): A progressive pediatric practice looking for a self-motivated, energetic person to join our team. Must be passionate about dentistry, gentle and friendly toward our patients, value relationships with team members, trust worthy, Dependable and punctual. Knowledge of computers is a must !! We also, offer some paid holidays and vacation and 401 K retirement plan. Having an active X-ray license is a MUST !!

Duties:

- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control measures
- Manage patient records using Dentrix or similar systems
- Provide support in pediatric dental care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience:

The successful candidate should ideally possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in using dental software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques in a dental setting
- Ability to take accurate vital signs
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

Pay: $20.16 - $24.28 per hour
