Description
Responsible for educating clients on coping skills, social skills, and linking them to community resources. Assists clients in gaining skills that will improve their functionality and help them with independent living. Documents sessions, updates and creates safety plans, treatment plans, and functional skills evaluations.

• Assists individuals in the development and coordinating of the individual’s service plan, including a treatment plan and safety plan.
• Builds and establishes a professional rapport with the designated population.
• Educates individuals about mental health or co-occurring diagnoses.
• Assists individuals in school and work readiness activities.
• Teaches the skills necessary to develop or enhance activities of daily living.
• Teaches skills to help further develop healthy social skills.
• Meets with clients “in vivo” in the community and assists them in independent living situations.
• Assists in symptom monitoring and self-management skills.
• Assists individuals and their families in achieving treatment and recovery goals.
• Assists clients in identifying triggers and barriers.
• Assisting clients in building skills for employment and school.
• Assists clients with skills for obtaining and maintaining housing.
• Encourages the development and eventual succession of natural supports in the workplace, community, and home settings.
• Attend group and weekly supervision at least weekly.
• Maintain HIPAA and client confidentiality at all times.
• Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work schedule is essential.
Minimum of a high school diploma
Experience working with adults with a severe mental illness preferred
Starting pay $15.00 per hour
