Job Title: Advanced Practice Nurse (PMHNP)
Salary: $107,000-$140,000 depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY: We are hiring a Psych Nurse Practitioner, who under physician direction is responsible for performing medical examination, diagnosis of common medical conditions, managing stable phases of chronic illness, coordinating health management and assisting the clinic physician in delivering care to patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Under physician direction, provides primary care services to clinic patients including prescribing, dispensing or transmitting medications in accordance with standardized procedures and current state regulations.
  2. Provides general counseling, guidance and health instructions to individual patients and family members.
  3. Participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings as required.
  4. Assists in organizing and implementing appropriate quality assurance activities.
  5. Seeks supervision from supervising MD as appropriate.
  6. Functions as part of a team in the provision of patient-care and performance of daily activities.
  7. Performs physical examinations utilizing designated employer examination guidelines.
  8. Participate in teaching activities as appropriate.
  9. Completes clinical documentation in a timely manner that is consistent with agency standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Nurse Practitioner Training Program (PMHNP certified) 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the consumer group(s) served.
  • Valid Tennessee Driver’s License
  • Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation
  • Cell Phone
