Wound Care Nurse:
We are currently seeking a Wound Care Nurse for the to join our team. As the Wound Care Nurse you will be responsible for coordination and clinical management of the wound care needs across our campuses. Working collaboratively with the medical and nursing team, this position will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and documentation of wounds.
Essential Qualifications::

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program with active LPN or RN licensure.

• Minimum 2 years experience as wound nurse (skilled nursing home preferred)

• Wound Care Certified

• Nursing Department Experience (preferred)

• Performs wound rounds with clinical team in 3 days per week.

• Performs wound audits to ensure regulatory documentation and clinical best practice

• Educates staff on best practices

• Participates in policy and procedure for comprehensive wound/pressure ulcer management

• Ensures weekly documentation and clinical review

• Participates in MDS documentation requirements

• Collaborates with the clinical team for care plan interventions and evaluation of treatment

Salary: :LPN - starting @ $31/hour
RN - starting @ $38/hour
