Billing Support Specialist - Insurance Billing:
We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team! This role is responsible for the accurate billing of all patient accounts. Under the management of the Director of Revenue Cycle, this role is responsible for all collection activities, denial management, appeals, and final resolution of insurance resident accounts in an effective and productive manner.
Essential Qualifications:

• Responsible for final review of claims for assigned payers.

• Ensure claims meet regulatory requirements.

• Meet department deadlines for claims submission.

• Verify claims receipt within 24 hours of submission.

• Audit all accounts where payment does not equal the revenue booked, resulting in a debit or credit balance.

• Medical collection experience is a plus.

• Responsible for adding billing notes regarding status of unpaid balances.

• Meet department calendar deadlines for claim submission.

• Escalate issues and or discrepancies to director as directed.

• Timely submission of quarterly credit balance reports.

• Participate in scheduled department meetings and in-services.

• Other duties and projects as assigned.
