The CNA: Certified Nursing Assistant forour Weekend Program will providequality nursing care to residents. This care will be performed in accordancewith Mennonite Home Communities Core Values, Mission Statement and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mustbe at least 18 years of age.

• Membershipon the Nurse Aide Registry, as monitored by the PA Department of Health.Certification must be active and in good standing.

• Oneyear of experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Assistsin activities of Daily Living needs of the resident - i.e., bathing, dressing,hair care, mouth care, shaving, toileting, nail care. Provides incontinence careand changes bed linens.

• Assistswith daily and ongoing activity programs for all residents.

• Lifts,turns, and transfers residents, as scheduled or as needed. Properly usesmechanical lifts and require 2 staff for all transfers.

• Observesand reports any change in resident's condition to LPN or RN using Stop andWatch in EMR. Completes and documents all areas of care in the EMR system.Weights/reweighs, BM records, restraint records (when applicable) input andoutput and meal percentages, ADLs, mood/behavior, toileting.

• Providescare in a manner that maintains resident's dignity and state of well-being.
