Title: Dining Aide

Work Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm and 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., 4/2 rotating schedule (4 days on, 2 days off) Flexibility to work weekends required.

Responsibilities include:

• Performs job duties safely as specified in the physical, sensory, and mental
• Prepares patient trays according to instructions and diet
• Assists in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menu and diet
• Covers, dates, and labels leftovers and open items
• Employs proper food handling techniques in preparation of food and setting up or serving
• Cleans, washes, and sanitizes dishes, silverware, and utensils using correct
• Assists in maintaining the general cleanliness of the dishwashing
• Cleans work area and equipment
• Puts up stock in food storage areas, including dry storage, freezers, and refrigerators
• Delivers food, nourishments, and supplies to nursing units and other areas as assigned
