Member Services Representative – Outdoor Pool
This is a part-time, seasonal position. The Member Services Representative – Pool will be the first point of
contact for MJCC members and guests visiting the outdoor pool. This person will be responsible for
verifying membership status of all patrons of the pool and for directing former members/non member
inquiries to the appropriate department.
Typical Work Schedule:
Summer pool open 7 days a week, Weekend of Memorial Day through Labor Day
Shifts may be any day of the week
Some holidays required such as Memorial Day and 4th of July.

Duties Include:
Provide excellent customer service to all those who call or come in person to the Pool Member

Services Desk.
Responsible for answering incoming phone calls for the outdoor pool and directing the caller to the

correct person/department.
Responsible for answering questions from members, assisting pool shift manager with concerns

and issues that come to the pool reception desk and directing as appropriate members to
appropriate staff. Will contact/call building MOD or Member Service staff as needed.

Provide and encourage great customer service for members, guests, staff, and the community
visiting the pool.

Direct member and guest questions to the proper program staff.
Create and actively promote a comfortable and welcoming environment where every participant is

treated with dignity and respect, in a friendly, personalized manner.
Ensure that the Pool Member Services Desk/area is being kept tidy.
Will be trained to use Quattro software to verify membership with key fobs and/or name searches.

Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to show accuracy and great attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and outstanding interpersonal skills
Independent judgment and initiative required
Excellent and proven customer service skills
Will include night/weekend hours
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
