Produces diagnostic images of anatomic structures and records physiologic data utilizing ionizing radiation, giving the utmost attention to the needs of the patient and family with limited direct supervision. Provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED. Graduate of an approved two year program in Radiologic Technology.
Minimum Experience: None.
Certification/Licensure: Holds and maintains current registry certificate of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Holds and maintains current New Mexico State Certificate as a Radiographic Radiologic Technologist. CPR certification required.
Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
