**Teacher's Aide Child Care Center: Child Care Center-Hollywood**
Detailed responsibilities:
Applies knowledge of learning principles to engage the children in appropriate activities.
Works collaboratively with the teacher to assess learning/development needs and to develop age appropriate learning solutions.
Assist the teacher with implementing the teaching schedule and curriculum.
Assist teachers with course progress report procedures.
Supervises children to ensure safety. Ensures classroom meets local licensing standards.
Attends periodical staff meetings.
Follows accreditation and licensing policies and practices.

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Work Experience: Six months experience working or volunteering with children.
Requires full Level 2 Background Screening at hire and every 5 years following.
