Summary :

Receives, cleans, sterilizes and stores surgical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities :

Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspections.Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.

Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.

Education and Certification Requirements :

Additional Job Information :

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required Work Experience : One (1) year of experience required.

Other Information : Can be certified as CPSDT or IAHCSMM.
