Attends all classroom seminars covering topics that include, but are not limited to, critical thinking and leadership skills. Participates in preceptorship and didactic learning to transition from beginner nurse to competent professional nurse in the clinical environment; strengthens decision-making skills and clinical judgement. Uses the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver patient care. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for his/her patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Maintains accurate data collection for direct and indirect patient care.
