60 Hours, Benefit Eligible
Supports the Registered Nurses with direct and indirect patient care, such as assisting with activities of daily living, personal care/ baths, comfort measures, and maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Collects patient data such as vital signs, weights, I & O, blood glucose levels, then reports findings to the Registered Nurse. Documents findings and care in the EMR within established timeframes. Exhibits behaviors reflective of Memorial’s core values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service.
RequirementsMust have recent experience with providing direct patient care or completion of nursing assistant class. STNA preferred. BLS certification is required.
