Oversees Foodservice Lines (café, patient, physician, daycare). Capable of stepping into any position if short staffed to fulfill department needs. Assists with the selection, training and evaluating performance of food service personnel; counsels employees and carries out commendation and corrective action as necessary; Creates and manages staff schedule. Prepares and maintains equipment repair requisitions, maintains temperature logs and other related documents. Operates/utilizes kitchen appliances (e.g., oven, steam table, slicer, etc.) to prepare food (e.g., entrees, vegetables, starches, baked goods, etc.) for patients, clients, and cafeteria; portions food in advance on tray line; relocates food and supplies to designated areas. Works with Food Service Operations Supervisor, Sous Chefs and Chefs to standardize recipes and processes pertaining to food service. Proficient with POS and digital menu board setup; Assists with the internal catering program and serve events as requested such as: Board Dinner, PR/Marketing Events and Medical Staff functions. Provides a work environment that fosters positive energy, creativity and teamwork among colleagues across all functional areas.

Requirements
Completion of approved Dietary Manager program or equivalent, or two (2) years previous experience in food production management in a health care facility with demonstrated leadership and management skills. Certificated Dietary Manager, if no comparable experience. *ServSafe Manager/ODH Certification in Food Protection.

Hours
80 per pay (Every two weeks)
