You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Neonatal Transport Coordinator like you to be a part of our team.
Coordinates the administrative functions of the neonatal transport service for the children’s hospital, including maintaining state requirements, staffing, supplies, education, and data tracking. Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.
Administration: Coordination and maintenance of neonatal transport team to include scheduling, problem solving, and public relations. Maintains and writes transport policies and procedures. Contributes to team member evaluations for transport team members.
Leadership: Provide and assist in education opportunities. Provide direction to transport team, coordinates workflow of team. Recognizes the need for change and manages rapidly changing situations. Utilizes past experience to recognize clinical patterns and provide alternative treatment of patients. Displays the ability to listen to the ideas/concerns of staff. Shows sensitivity to staff/customers by demonstrating compassion and interest. Able to communicate and negotiate needs and concerns clearly and concisely. : Participates in activities to improve patient care and enhance knowledge base. Assists in CPR instruction. Maintains knowledge of current literature. Serves in an advisory capacity to staff, much like an educator.
Clinical Competence: Consultant/resource person for tertiary care center, transport nurses, and outlying community, Pediatric staff. Provides direct patient care to complex patients both while on transports and within Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery (NICN). Supervises care to patients and is able to identify appropriate outcomes. Demonstrates and role models expert ability in the assessment of patients.

Two years experience in Pediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal ICU, and or Pediatric/ Neonatal Transport Team
