Summary
- Assist the project manager with daily administration of contract requirements from job
- start-up through closeout
- Demonstrate problem-solving ability
- Responsible for document control for assigned projects
- Effectively utilize construction-based software such as Primavera, Sage, Procore,
- Bluebeam, etc. for daily project administration
- Spend time in the field office to supporting production work on site
- Position will be in the regional office and/or in the field
- Reports to Project Managers
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree in Construction-related discipline preferred
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with a Project Manager
- Demonstrate commercial project experience of projects escalating in size
- Proficient reading, writing and communication skills
- Understanding of construction plans and specifications
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and construction-based software
Supplemental Qualifications
- Experience in and proficiency with Excel, formulas, and spreadsheet building
- Experience with CPM schedule methodology and schedule development
- OSHA 10HR Certification
Basic Responsibilities & Duties
Assist project manager with:
- client contract administration
- submittal and shop drawing review
- cost control and change management
- schedule management
- subcontractor/vendor management
- project accounts payable and sub/vendor payables
- client, architect/engineer, and subcontractor relations
- supervision of safety and environmental policies and reporting
- management of the quality control program in the field
- closeout process
- estimating team in project pursuits and bid day activities
- lead small projects under project manager supervision
