Job Title : Sheet Metal Welder

Location : Haltom City, TX

Pay Range : $20 - 28 / hr.

Length on Assignment : Performance to Hire.

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Welder to join our team. The Sheet Metal Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding various types of sheet metal components.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with sheet metal and performing welding tasks.

As a Sheet Metal Welder, you will be expected to read and interpret blueprints, take accurate measurements, and use various welding techniques to join metal pieces together.

The Sheet Metal Welder will also be responsible for inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

The Sheet Metal Welder must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently to meet production deadlines.

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Fabricate and weld sheet metal components according to blueprints and specifications
• Operate welding equipment such as MIG and TIG welders
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications :

• Familiar with MIG welding and handling the following : galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum
• Light gauge welding
• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Welder
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Certification in welding preferred
• Must have hand tools and own welding hood
