Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages in a fast-paced cafe environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to brew coffee and prepare ingredients
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Handle cash transactions using the POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Skills:
- Strong retail math skills for cash handling
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating orders
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage recipes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
