This role oversees creating and executing sales plans to increase revenue and market share for the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a solid sales background, outstanding communication and leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement sales plans to achieve and surpass revenue targets for the hotel.

Identify and target key market segments and generate new clients for group sales, catering events, and room reservations.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and proactively seek out new business opportunities.

Conduct sales calls and presentations to potential clients and negotiate contracts.

Work with various departments to ensure smooth execution of events and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with revenue management to set pricing and maximize profit for group reservations and events.

Track sales and revenue performance and provide regular reports and analysis to leadership.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitors' activities, and local events to adjust plans as needed.

Lead a team of sales coordinators and provide guidance and support to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree.

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hotel/hospitality industry, with demonstrated success in increasing revenue and market share.

Strong knowledge of sales techniques, market analysis, and negotiation strategies.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated leadership skills with experience leading a sales team.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel as required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Must have a valid driver's license and have a dependable mode of transportation.
