Residential Counselor Overview

Join our team as an Adult Residential Counselor, where you'll play a crucial role in providing a supportive home-like environment within our adult residential program. You'll be responsible for instructing individuals in functional living skills, socialization, and communication, all while implementing highly technical clinical and instructional programs. Make a difference in the lives of adults with complex needs and contribute to their growth and independence.

Residential Counselor Schedule and Salary Information

• Second shift and weekends
• $21-$24 per hour

Residential Counselor Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• Valid US driver’s license and minimum age of 21
• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
• Experience with specialized populations preferred

Residential Counselor Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing environment to support individual growth and independence
• Teach functional living, socialization, and communication skills
• Implement behavior management and clinical protocols effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment
