mello Home Services is Hiring a Home Service Sales Representative Near Southfield, MI

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated team member to join our team at mellohome. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for mellohome network ecosystem. You will be responsible for the initial engagement between all mellohome partiers for the introduction of assignment of the referral process. You are responsible for following up with loanDepot customers and book of business to discuss the benefits of solar, home improvement, and home security services. You will engage in outbound dials and play a pivotal role in referring clients to loanDepot's partnered companies. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients from start to finish. This position ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

Responsibilities:

  • Plays a Relationship Engagement role, becoming the initial referral hub between solar, home improvement, and home security.
  • Make outbound calls to loanDepot customers to discuss solar, home improvement, and home security services.
  • Follow up with leads and book of business to provide information and assistance.
  • Refer clients to loanDepot partnered companies and incentivized based on referrals.
  • Ensure a high level of care and attention to customer needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to customers throughout the entire process.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
  • Responsible for all transaction milestones by tracking initial handoff between consumer and referral partners.
  • Gauges customer satisfaction via surveys, emails, phone calls throughout the home purchase process and provides feedback to both the in-network agents and the loan officer.

Requirements:

  • 1 years of Mortgage Industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in sales is preferred.
  • Commutable distance to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the Irvine, CA or Southfield, MI office & 1 day Remote (typically Fridays).
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.
  • Maintains a high level of focus on minor details when describing the melloHome processes to external partners; ability to document notes in a formalized structure.
  • Ability to analyze issues and implement unconventional solutions; can problem solve in real time.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple parties across various businesses and interact with customers in a friendly, concise, and professional manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree and California Real Estate license preferred.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base pay for this role is $17/hr for CA applicants and $14.42 for MI applicants plus a bonus compensation. Additionally, this role works a hybrid schedule. Mon-Thursday is onsite in the office, Friday is work from home.
