Job Overview:

We are seeking a Tax Preparer with versatile skills. An individual who would like to expand their knowledge of tax preparation and get a feel for what it looks like to be a self employed individual in the financial service industry.

The office traditionally operates with a full time receptionist, the owner CPA together with a part time bookkeeper and additional tax season help.

Ultimate Goal: Current owner nearing retirement, seeking an individual interested in taking over practice.

Duties:

-Prepare and file accurate payroll and income tax returns.

-Assist with general office tasks, such as answering phone calls, greeting clients.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in payroll and income tax preparation.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
