Night Production Manager
Reports to Operations Manager
Springfield’s favorite donut stores are looking for a responsible problem solver to oversee nightly donut production. Position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring efficient, accurate, food safe production for Mel-O-Cream Donuts.
Responsible for directly supervising the finishing operation (icing, filling, and sorting donuts) and ensuring deliveries are made. Regular hours are 4PM to midnight or later 5 nights a week
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Icing, filling, and sorting donuts
Making icings and fillings as needed
Covering staff shortages when needed
Training and coaching of production staff
Ensuring proper documentation of missed work and corrective actions/coaching conversations for production crew and delivery staff
Upholding mandated food safety standards
Managing production staff to ensure consistent quality and accuracy for store bake levels, wholesale & special orders
Managing night production crew and delivery staff to maximize production efficiency
Communication of equipment issue or defect
Ensure all closing checklists and cleaning checklists are complete
Valid IL Driver’s License with a good driving record
Desired Skills:
2 years management experience
2 years food service experience
Illinois Certified Food Service Manager Sanitation card holder
Production experience
Scheduling and problem solving experience
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Heat and cold tolerance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
