Meineke Car Care of Alaska is seeking a friendly, motivated, and performance-driven Service Advisor with a track record of success in automotive repair or sales. Customer Service ● Build a positive relationship with customers. Go above and beyond to impress the customer. ● Maintain an upbeat atmosphere. Find ways to say yes to customers and ensure they leave satisfied. ● Welcome customers & proactively communicate with them throughout their entire visit. ● Educate customers on digital vehicle inspection results, communicate the benefits and value of any needed work, answer any questions, and perform any other needed services. ● Invoicing customers - review scope of work, seek feedback, schedule follow-ups, etc. ● Verify inspections are being performed consistently and accurately on all vehicles. ● Spot-check & maintain training on inspection procedures as needed. Sales & Center Performance ● Meet weekly and monthly goals for call conversion, DVIs completed, car count, average repair order value, overall center sales, etc. ● Follow phone procedures at all times; both incoming and outgoing are important! ● Maintain detailed knowledge of the Meineke's software systems. Be able to work through a repair ticket quickly and efficiently. ● Track cores, returns, and warranty claims daily to ensure accuracy. ● Accurately enter pricing and cost of goods into the point-of-sale system on every ticket. ● Order parts from approved vendors in a timely manner; track arrival and verify with technician immediately to ensure parts are correct. Preferred Qualifications / Skills ● Excellent interpersonal and phone skills. ● Ability to think creatively when working with customers. ● Proactive self-starter attitude. ● 1 years of prior automotive service advisor experience or 1 years as sales / customer service leader in a related role. ● Experience working with point-of-sale software or with Apple and Windows software. ● Interest in the automotive industry. ● High school diploma or equivalent.
