Position Summary :
The Outside Sales Estimator is primarily responsible for selling crane and / or rigging services to businesses and industrial or commercial establishments through in-person or telephone contact.
Will work closely with customers to understand required specifications and scope of work, and assist the sales and operations teams by drafting proposals, determine and monitor overall project costs including materials or equipment needed, and manpower or labor requirements.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education) :
Minimum three (3) to ten (10) years of proven sales and field experience within the industrial or construction industries;
direct crane and rigging knowledge or related field experience highly desired.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Normal, climate-controlled office environment. Extended time sitting using a computer, keyboard / mouse, and telephone. Will be exposed to site-specific situations that may include climbing stairs or ladders, walking over uneven or rough terrain, and working in indoor or outdoor environments with exposure to inclement weather.
