General Overview:

This Dallas Tx based position requires technical knowledge in the operation, testing and maintenance of electrical assets such as transformer, relays, circuit breakers, cables, batteries etc. Interact and liaise with Field Sales Reps, Applications Engineers, and engineering to facilitate the most effective utilization and monitoring of the Americas sales team equipment inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to the sales and rental clients on functional verification and accessories review of Megger test equipment.
• Ability to perform the basic operation of all Megger instruments available in the Americas asset pool.
• Ability to meet and deliver the technical product requests put forward by sales team and clients.
• Develop workflow process, functional procedures, and checklist documents for Megger instruments.
• Perform firmware and software updates for various Megger products available in the Americas equipment inventory.
• Maintain, track, and monitor the Americas demonstration equipment assets distributed amongst different sales territories, using the different platforms implemented by the Demo Equipment department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (Associate degree preferred)
• Previous experience using electrical test equipment preferred
• Must have ability to learn technical products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and asset management skills and ability to handle different databases
• Must be detail oriented, multi-tasking, well organized, a team player and handle large volume of tasks.
• Position requires strong computer skills including knowledge of various Windows platforms, software installation, communication protocols and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
