Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in various locations. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and network systems
- Perform network installations, including Ethernet cabling and Cisco router configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer networking and low voltage systems
- Conduct site surveys to assess equipment needs and ensure proper installation
- Test and inspect systems to ensure they meet quality standards
- Provide training and support to clients on the use of installed systems
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications preferred
- Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, network installations, and computer networking
- Familiarity with cabling techniques and low voltage systems
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation and maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with clients
