Meeting Street is currently looking for a Behavioral Specialist for 40 hours per week.
Duties:
  • Performs student observations and Functional Behavior Assessments.
  • Develops and monitors student behavior plans.
  • Trains staff on implementing behavior plans and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborates with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement an integrated educational/therapy model.
  • Keeps updated data records on each student's progress to write accurate evaluations, progress reports and IEP goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, special education or social work.
  • Experience working with students with varying levels of disabilities.
  • Experience developing and managing student behavior plans.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid training.
  • De-escalation and restraint training preferred.
  • BCBA certified by RIDE preferred.
