The Senior Calibration Technician ensures timely execution of calibration tasks in adherence to GxP guidelines and SOPs. Proficient in calibrating various instruments, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, this individual works independently with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calibration and Adjustment: Calibrate and adjust equipment according to specified tolerances using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Proficient Calibration: RTDs, pressure gauges, conductivity and pH meters, environmental monitoring systems, incubators, refrigerators, freezers, centrifuges
• Process Equipment: Calibrate process equipment such as bioreactors, mixers, autoclaves, and differential pressure transmitters to ensure optimal performance.
• Calibration of Utilities: Calibrate instruments on WFI skids, RO/DI skids, chill water systems, boilers, etc., to maintain operational efficiency.
• Utilization of Calibration Standards: Utilize calibration standards including RTDs, Coriolis flow meters, standard solutions, process meters, and pneumatic and hydraulic pressure/vacuum calibrators.
• Vendor Communication: Specify and request purchase of parts or materials and communicate effectively with manufacturers and vendors.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of calibration activities and ensure all documentation meets quality and GxP requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of calibration of laboratory equipment and process equipment.
• 1 year of Pharmaceutical experience
• Knowledge of GMP guidelines
• experience with BMRAM or similar calibration management systems preferred
