Trusted environmental, erosion control and site development company with nearly 40 years in business and rich culture of safety is seeking a Project Estimator.

We provide access and work as a team to perform construction services to vital utility crews.

Job Overview: The Estimator is responsible for working closely with Project Support Manager to ensure that project estimates, budgets, and details are well organized in order to deliver the highest quality product to the client within specifications.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
• Estimate costs by looking at the entire project
• Present cost estimates to upper management
• Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project
• Input cost data into company database
• Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost
• Look at customer requirements for a project
• Work with the sales team to prepare proposals

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience working as an estimator
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to put together a professional presentation
• Ability to create reports on costing data
• Amazing analytical and math skills
• Ability to work well on a team
• Very detail oriented
• Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements
• Deep knowledge of how processes work

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work extended work hours as the need arises, as in the case of emergencies at a work-site, may be required
• Travel to various job sites and work locations
• Must have a driver’s license
• Have the ability to communicate (verbal, non-verbal and written) with all levels of the organization.
• Regular walking, standing and sitting are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
