MedVet is Hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician- Surgery Department Near Brook Park, OH
- Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc
- Fill medications, enter charges and maintainaccurate medical records, schedule appointments
- Create patient releases, navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations
- Prep patients for surgery, including shaving, scrubbing and positioning, assist with intubation and radiographs
- Proficiently perform blood draws and submit bloodwork
- Ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Opening, turning over and cleaning operating rooms, as well as cleaning instruments and wrapping packs
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license required
- Anesthesia experience required
- Prior veterinary experience required,previoussurgery experience desired
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
