MedVet is Hiring an Internal Medicine Registered Veterinary Technician Near Worthington, OH
- Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
- Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc).
- Induce, monitor and recover patients from anesthesia
- Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
- Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
- Patient discharge and client education
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license required
- Prior veterinary experience required, previousinternal medicine or anesthesia experience desired
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
