Company DescriptionMEDVACON Life Sciences works with many leading pharmaceutical companies to hire consultants, contractor's and full-time employees to join their organizations. One of our pharmaceutical clients is looking to fill an Vendor Outsourcing Associate position ON-SITE in Foster City, CA.Job DescriptionHybrid/Locations: Foster City, CA, Morris Plains, NJ, Santa Monica, CA, OR Seattle, WAContract Duration: 1 yearThe Vendor Outsourcing Associate is responsible for supporting various activities and projects within the Vendor Outsourcing organization mainly for Clinical Trial / Operations Outsourcing.Responsibilities:Contract execution, review, management, routing and quality controlManagement of MSA’s, WO’s, CO’s, LOA’s, LOI, CDA’s and other contracts for the Contract Research Organizations (CROs)Execution of market engagements (RFx, Bid Defence Meetings, Vendor Selection Meetings etc.)New supplier setup and supplier updates in ERPData entry of supplier and contract information (such as contractual and financial data)Researching and resolving vendor invoice and payment inquiries and issuesReviewing and analyzing of vendor proposalsProject support for various initiatives including M&A, simplification etc.Strategy development and implementation supportQualificationsThe ideal candidate should have:Bachelor’s degree is a mustClinical development process and scientific environment expertise and experienceLegal experience (JD, Legal Counsel, Legal Administrator) or relevant experience in working with contracts and legal mattersProficiency in legal language, contract structure and formatComfortable interacting with internal and external teams and business partners (such as clinical operations, clinical research, finance, account payable, purchasing, and potentially legal and business conduct)Project management/support experienceAbility to comply with specific processes in a regulated environmentAdditional InformationW2/1099 CONTRACT CANDIDATES ONLY!!!
