Requirements

Our Patient Care Technicians play a vital role in our care team in helping elderly patients with chronic conditions through health coaching and medical assistance. Our Patient Care Technicians work hand-in-hand with our physicians, dietitians, engineers, and other segments of our organization to deliver high-quality, integrative care to our patients in the Boston area so they can live their lives in confidence. Their work simplifies a difficult and confusing process for patients in need of essential healthcare.

Some day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Regular check-ins with patients both virtually and in-person
  • Working closely with physicians and nurse practitioners, including shadowing appointments
  • Interpret vitals and develop a care plan to report to a team of physicians
  • Develop trust and positive rapport with all new patients
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Perform administrative tasks to simplify delivery of medical care

Our ideal candidate would:

  • Have patient care experience (mandatory)
  • Be comfortable reading and interpreting basic vitals
  • Be personable and passionate about quality patient-care
  • Have experience with lab draws
  • Have some knowledge on nutrition and healthy exercise habits
  • Be committed for a minimum of 6 months
  • Be pre-health oriented
  • Be able to commute to Hyde Park
