As a key team member, you will have a leadership opportunity to make an impact supporting the Medtronic Product DNA Program; a major transformational program that will create a connected thread of non-transactional product data to support the entire product lifecycle. This will specifically drive changes and interfaces within our overall eco-system (PLM, MES and ERP). Product DNA is an ecosystem that creates a connected thread of product information, harnessing the collective ingenuity of employees across functions, enabling better collaboration with customers and partners, to rapidly deliver quality products and services, ultimately improving more patients’ lives.

This role carries with it the opportunity to lead the Operations Process Development Workstream for the Medtronic Product DNA program. Product DNA is an enterprise wide transformation program looking at driving simplification and efficiency to help better deliver our products to our patients.A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
  • Experience leading and deploying lean, continuous improvement and six sigma programs.
  • Experience leading and developing training programs for manufacturing plants.
  • Experience leading, developing and deploying continuous improvement strategies from leadership through direct labor employees.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
