You will work with members of the algorithm and product development teams to improve the performance of oximeters through the application of machine learning and signal processing, mathematical modeling, and experimentation.ACUTE CARE AND MONITORING focuses on improving outcomes associated with respiratory compromise, deep vein thrombosis, nutritional insufficiency, and healthcare associated infections.

A Day in the Life ·You will support patient monitoring product development and lifecycle maintenance by building, analyzing, and evaluating data to identify opportunities and generate actionable insight and solutions.·You will be responsible for defining, designing, and developing robust system simulations and analyzing clinical data to aid in the development of algorithms for patient monitoring products.·You will work to optimize and accelerate the use of data – from simulations, bench testing and clinical studies – to enable design decisions and ensure technology safety and efficacy.·In product development projects, you will use machine language and statistical modeling techniques such as decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis and others to develop and evaluate algorithms to improve product/system performance, quality, data management and accuracy.·You will be a technical lead for algorithm develop and provide mentorship lower level engineers·Looking for a seasoned, strategic-minded technical individual with extensive medical device expertise.
