As an important member of the Manufacturing team, you will lead the strategy, operating mechanisms, and continuous improvement deployment for Operational Excellence (OpEx) at the Tempe Site. This role will support training deployment strategy and execution across the operation for NEO and onboarding. You will be an integral part of transforming the organization and driving culture change. This role will report into the VP of Manufacturing at the Tempe Site.

The Tempe site is a Technology Development Center specializing in micro-electronics and sensors, responsible for helping patients through the anticipation, development & manufacture of solutions that matter. The Tempe site supports 8 operating business unit partners across ~6 manufacturing value streams.

A Day in the LifeYou will manage the Operational Excellence (OpEx) function for the Tempe Manufacturing Site, deploying the Medtronic Performance System (MPS) (One Best Way) to meet the site’s short- and long-term goals for improved quality performance, increased service levels, reduced COGS, improved operational efficiency and EHS performance goals. This role supports ~$375MM cost of production which delivers ~$7.0B of revenue.
As OpEx site Director, you will:
Organizational Relationship/Scope:
Close working relationships and consensus building are required with all other Site management staff (Operations managers, Finance, Quality)
The OpEx leader is responsible for the coordination of processes and resources in cross-functional, operations activities within the site.
