In this exciting role as an Inspector II, you will be responsible for visually inspecting, testing, and verifying incoming components and materials per documented work instructions for quality assurance.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic components, computer equipment, precision plastic components or mechanical units for structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
  • Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
  • Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
  • Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
  • Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
  • Work using Microsoft software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and some others.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years of related technical and/or inspection experience required

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Computer knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, Systems)
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
  • Detailed oriented

While performing the duties of this job, the inspector is regularly required to be independently mobile, to be able to stand, sit and walk 8 hours/day, and must be able to lift up to 40 pounds from the floor on a regular basis.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
