Position Overview:
This position supports US Field inventory strategies, programs, projects to achieve service, inventory, and SOGL goals working closely with Global Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Sales, and customers. The position ensures best practices, standardization, innovation, and alignment across vascular. A critical member within the America’s, who builds strong relationships with Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Care, and IT to achieve US field inventory goals and objectives.
·Build and execute field inventory policies and inventory management training program for new reps and existing reps.
·Drive compliance to MDT inventory policies (in collaboration with NV sales leadership). This includes tracking rep compliance to physical inventory counts at an established/agreed upon cadence.
·Build and execute customer facing and sales facing communication plans prior to launching new consignment and trunk initiatives.
·Provide weekly tracking of inventory by rep/district vs targets for consignment and trunk inventory.
·Support commercial teams and sales team to leverage field inventory during supply challenges.
·Work closely with Supply Chain, Sales Leadership, and Customer Care to create and implement field inventory strategies and programs.
·Manage compliance of Field Inventory programs and initiatives
·Leverage Field and cross functional relationships to drive and influence program execution.
·Create and execute product Phase In / Phase Out (PIPO) field inventory strategies.
·Identify and implement an optimal distribution strategy from Distribution Center to Hospital / Field personnel.
·Technology based inventory management solutions.

oProjects with customers to improve end to end supply chain process.
oBenchmark industry and adjacent industries for best-in-class inventory management solutions.
·Engage with US Field Inventory team to ensure standardized methodologies and programs and implement best practices nationally.
·Collaborate cross functionally to develop and implement new programs, projects, tools, and concepts to maximize service levels, right size inventory, lower SOGL, improve transaction accuracy and data integrity, use technology, and simplify inventory management, control and visibility.
Basic Qualifications:
EDUCATION REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s degree YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
•5 years of medical device inventory management experience
• Experience working closely with customers, Sales and Supply Chain
• Project Management experience
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
·Supply chain experience with focus on developing and implementing inventory management strategies and solutions while lowering costs through processes, systems and technologies.
·Fosters collaboration / business partner approach
·Good balance of high level strategic and detailed tactical thought processes.
·Highly developed skill set in project leadership practices including ability to balance risk, effectively influence diverse teams, and ownership of responsibility for outcomes.
·Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Power BI
·Demonstrated track record of successfully leading projects to completion.
·Six Sigma or lean sigma experience
·Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
·Meets customer requirements based on an accurate understanding of their needs and expectations; acts on customer feedback to improve service.
·Excellent communication, both written & verbal, and presentation skills
·Contributes innovative ideas that lead to positive business results encouraging and adopting new ways of looking at problems, processes, systems and solutions.
