AsaPhysical Therapist Lifestyle PRN,you willplan, organize, and conduct individualized physical therapy programs to help patients restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent/limit permanent physical disabilities following injury or disease. Teaches patients to use assistive and adaptive devices. Instructs patients in posture and therapeutic exercises to be continued at home. Studies, evaluates, and records patients' activities and progress.

Primary Duties:
Evaluates and plans therapy programs for each patient assigned as prescribed by physician. Records and reports patient progress in consultation with the referring physician as specified in department policy.
Directs and aids the patients in therapeutic techniques, appropriate to patient needs, in accordance with PT practice guidelines. Provides accurate billing information on the same day as services.
Employs principles of therapeutic communication, interviewing techniques, problem-solving, and crisis intervention when performing patient care. Communicates appropriately and clearly to facility staff and members of the department.
Handles stressful situations with tact and poise. Educates patient/family regarding physical therapy plan of care and appropriate home program and documents education in patient record.
Maintains requirements of clinical ladder.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Physical Therapy Required and Doctoral degree Physical Therapy Preferred
PT - Physical Therapist Possesses and maintains Maryland Physical Therapist licensure.
